I’ve been tasked by my company to look into future and digital technologies and strategies, and when I looked for books I came across this one which I found interesting and gave me a good overview of what 3d printing can do for business. Not fantasies but real use. After having read the book I felt much more familiar with what 3d printing is and what it can do for business. The book gave answers to many of my questions. It was easy to read, it focused on business and not technology, and it seems like the author has made good research as many different sources have been used and are referred to in the book. Well worth reading for what it gave me as a reader.
I have been curious to understand how 3d printing fits into the new digital strategies some companies are speaking about. This book helped me understand how Industrial 3d printing fits into Industry 4.0 and how companies can benefit from using the technology. A lot of what is written in the book was new for me. I liked the and enjoyed reading it.
